💔 The Truth About Lies: Why Lying Hurts More Than the Truth Ever Could

By: Elisabeth O’Veal Minor

Lies Destroy Not Protect

They say the truth will set you free, but for some people, lying has become a habit—a shield for their ego, a cover for their insecurities, or just an easy way out of accountability. What they don’t realize is that every lie plants a seed of pain in someone else’s heart.

Women—real women—carry a divine intuition. We can feel when something ain’t right. We can sense when the words don’t match the energy. God gave us that spiritual radar for a reason. We don’t always need proof; we just know.

So why do men lie?

Sometimes it’s pride. Sometimes it’s fear. And sometimes it’s just ego—the need to protect an image, to avoid looking weak, to stay in control. But here’s the truth: when you lie to a woman who loves you, you’re not protecting her feelings—you’re destroying her trust.

Lies don’t just break relationships. They break spirits.

They make a woman question herself, her intuition, her worth. And that’s the deepest wound of all—when a good woman starts doubting her own discernment.

But the Word tells us something powerful: “Let God be true, but every man a liar.” (Romans 3:4)

God already knew human nature. He knew we’d fall short. That’s why discernment is divine—it’s His way of whispering truth into the hearts of women who listen.

So to every man reading this:

If you love her, tell her the truth. Even if it hurts. Because honesty is the only language love truly understands.

And to every woman reading this:

Never silence your intuition. It’s not paranoia—it’s protection.

Because when you walk in truth, you walk with God. And when you walk with God, no lie can live long around you.

🌿 Affirmation:

“I trust my intuition because it is the voice of God within me.”
